There are two options for paying the monthly Global AutoTrading subscription fee, depending on the broker:
- Clients using Interactive Brokers can pay the fee directly out of the brokerage account. Clients give permission to Global AutoTrading to withdraw up to a certain amount per month out of their brokerage account. Most clients choose this approach; this is also our preferred approach. Clients that have multiple accounts can choose to pay for a registered (IRA) account from a non-registered account
- Clients using Tradier need to use PayPal to pay the monthly autotrading fee. There is a link under the "clients" menu on our web site (when logged in) to setup a PayPal pre-authorization. Sometimes, clients that use Interactive Brokers prefer to use PayPal, if (for example) they have a registered investment account with the broker (such as a (Roth) IRA).
- Clients using AutoShares don't need to pay a monthly autotrading fee (at the cost of higher commission fees).
