The Contrarian Strategist^* has gone through a series of name changes. It started out as the Oxford Short Alert^* (last published on August 25, 2006). The Oxford Short Alert^* was renamed to the Oxford Hedge Trader^* (indicating a shift in focus to both long and short trades -- instead of just short trades, as was the case with The Oxford Short Alert^*). The Oxford Hedge Trader^* (first published on August 31, 2006, and last published on August 22, 2007) was then renamed to the Alpha Intelligence Alert^*. The Alpha Intelligence Alert^* was first published August 30, 2007, and last published on December 3, 2008. The Alpha Intelligence Alert^* was then renamed to the Long and Short Alert^*. The Long and Short Alert^* was first published on December 16, 2008, and last published on October 6, 2009. The Hot IPO Trader^* also merged with the Long and Short Alert^*; the Hot IPO trader^* was last published on December 18, 2008. The Contrarian Strategist^* is currently edited by Marc Lichtenfeld (and formerly edited by Louis Basenese).
